Liberty Day

UPDATE: Liberty Day Festival dates have changed due to COVID-19.

Columbiana’s Liberty Day Festival is scheduled for Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th.  The two day event will include music, food trucks, arts and craft vendors, activities for children, a car show, a hotdog eating contest, a parade down Main Street, and the best fireworks show in central Alabama.

History of Liberty Day

Liberty Day began in 1986 as a celebration of the statue of Liberty and has evolved into a two day, family friendly event full of live music, arts and crafts, a parade down Main Street, and a phenomenal fireworks show.  Columbiana is unique in the fact that we are one of the few cities left who close down Main Street and celebrate in the street.  Thousands of visitors from across central Alabama attend this event on both Friday night and on Saturday.

This event is completely FREE to the public thanks to our dedicated sponsors!
