FEMA Assistance for March Tornado

On April 26, 2021 President Biden granted a Major Disaster Declaration for Bibb, Calhoun, Clay, Hale, Jefferson, Perry, Randolph, and Shelby Counties releasing Federal funds to help individuals recover from the March 25th and 26th Tornados and storms. FEMA Individual Assistance is now available for those impacted by the disaster. The City Council appoints the members of each of the boards.  To address any issue with a board or authority, please contact either the chair or one of the board members directly, or address your questions/concerns to Charlene Tucker at ctucker@cityofcolumbiana.com, and your e-mail will be forwarded to the appropriate entity.

The new administration is addressing vacancies on the boards and all boards, commissions and committees should be updated by the end of December with new appointments.  If you have a desire to serve on a board or commission, please contact a council member or Mayor Mitchell.
