Frequently Asked Questions
I live outside of Columbiana. Can I still be a member?
Yes, we welcome all residents of Shelby County.
How much does membership cost?
Membership is free. There are fees associated with some trips and activities.
My loved one requires assistance with their care. Can he or she come to the senior center?
Yes, as long as your loved one has a caregiver with them while they attend the senior center.
Do I have to come to the senior center everyday?
No, we welcome individuals to come as their schedule permits. Most individuals coming to the center are in retirement and requiring someone to adhere to someone else’s strict schedule doesn’t sound very much like retirement to us. We want you to ENJOY the senior center! Come as much or as little as you want.
